The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the closure of the Premium Passport Application Centres in Accra and Kumasi, effective February 20, 2026.
In a press statement issued on Monday, February 23, the Ministry said the decision affects all applicants who were using the premium centres, particularly those with pending applications.
What affected applicants should do
The Ministry has directed clients to continue their passport processing at their respective Regional Passport Application Centres going forward.
Applicants who require assistance during the transition have been advised to contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit on 0302-754-200 for guidance and support.
