Kenpong Travel and Tours is preparing to officially launch its highly anticipated travel packages for the 2026 FIFA World Cup at a major event scheduled to take place in Accra on Friday, February 20 at 10:00am.
The launch ceremony will be held at the company’s office in Dzorwulu, located next to the Canada Visa Application Centre, and is expected to draw prominent figures from Ghana’s sports and tourism industries.
The Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, will attend as the special guest, highlighting the increasing collaboration between sports development efforts and private-sector travel services in the lead-up to the global tournament.
The programme will be chaired by the Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor. Also expected to attend is Ernest Henry Norgbey, the Member of Parliament for Ashaiman and a member of Parliament’s Select Committee on Sports.

Officials of Kenpong Travel and Tours say Friday’s event will formally roll out a selection of specially curated travel packages aimed at giving Ghanaian football supporters smooth and convenient access to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The packages will include visa support, flight bookings, accommodation, guidance on match tickets, and on-ground logistics, positioning the company as a comprehensive travel partner for fans looking to witness the tournament live.
With global excitement already mounting ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the company says the launch underscores its commitment to delivering well-structured, secure, and competitively priced travel options to enable Ghanaian fans to experience football’s biggest stage.
Industry observers note that the initiative highlights increasing confidence among Ghanaian travel agencies in providing premium international sports tourism services, particularly for major global competitions.
Organisers also indicate that the launch will create an avenue for sports lovers, corporate organisations, and members of the media to engage with company officials and receive detailed information about the available packages.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is expected to attract millions of fans worldwide. Kenpong Travel and Tours says it is committed to ensuring that Ghanaian supporters are fully represented at the global event.
Meanwhile, the Ghana national football team, popularly known as the Black Stars, boast an impressive record of four previous World Cup appearances in 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2022, and will be aiming to make a strong impact once again in 2026, marking what would be their fifth participation in the tournament.
